Atwater Kent Radio Receiver - Model 30. Mahogany cabinet with hinged top for accessing interior components and tubes. Oval Atwater Kent nameplate attached to front panel. Three dials, power switch, and Tuned Radio Frequency tuner with six tubes. Tubes are missing. Used with external batteries, antenna, and speaker horn or headphones. This model was also sold for inclusion in larger, more decorative cabinets. Back panel has holes for access to antenna and battery connections. Silk-covered speaker cable is present, though heavily frayed, and includes an original cloth tag with connection directions.
