Record, Phonograph

One sound track phonograph record. The 16-inch diameter record was played simultaneously with the Fox Film Corporation movie, "The River," copyright 1929. It is made of a black plastic material and was pressed by the Victor Talking Machine Company. The record grooves run from the center outward, with recordings on one side only. According to a check-off box on the center label, the record (for Reel 7) has been played four times. The record is contained in a fitted wooden storage box.
