Rifle, Percussion
One muzzle loading percussion rifle. The schuetzen type, bench target rifle has a 0.45 caliber octagonal barrel and a walnut wood stock with steel fittings. The thick, heavy steel barrel is stamped on top with the name of the gunsmith, "Wicker & Hagadorn, Ypsilanti, Mich." Adjacent stamped text reads "Remington Cast Steel." It has a peep sight at the rear. The trigger guard has a decorative scrollwork design.
