Scrapbook

One scrapbook of the 1935 Detroit Tigers baseball team which finished its season with a World Series win against the Chicago Cubs. The scrapbook has cardboard covers with a red simulated fabric covering, silver-colored text on the front that reads "Scrap Book," and a red cord binding on the left edge. A black and white halftone photographic image of Gordon S. "Mickey" Cochrane is glued to the front cover. The scrapbook contains 30 sheets of heavyweight paper and most are filled with various mementos (signed photos, cards, newspaper clippings, ticket stubs, letters, and envelopes) glued on both sides of the sheets. There are five blank sheets at the back. The scrapbook was prepared by Miss Elizabeth O'Sullivan who corresponded with several of the Tigers players and these letters are shown among the mementos.
