Sculpture
One plaster prototype sculpture that depicts a young boy who is holding a fishing rod. The plaster surface is mostly smooth and has a faux bronze finish. The sculpture shows the figure of a young boy who is kneeling/crouching on the bank of a stream or lake. He is wearing long pants, but no shirt or shoes, and is holding the fishing rod under his right elbow while holding the line with both hands. The sculpture is mounted on a square, walnut wood base that has a decorative routered edge. The artist has signed his name, "Chesney, 1973," near the lower edge of the sculpture at the back.
