Shaker, Salt

One pair of salt and pepper shakers that resemble commercial laundry machines. The box-shaped shakers are made of white plastic. The front side panels are slanted near the top and have small circular clear plastic windows on the loading doors. Red text above and on the doors reads "Westinghouse Laundromat" and "Westinghouse Clothes Dryer." Small perforated openings on the top of the "Laundromat" show the letter, "S," for salt. Similar perforations on the top of the "Clothes Dryer" show the letter, "P," for pepper. A strip of black plastic is glued along the lower front panel of each shaker and black rubber stoppers are located on the bottoms. Raised text on the lower back edge of each shaker reads "Ideal Models - Detroit."
