Signal, Elevator

One elevator signal from Hudson's downtown Detroit department store. The signal consists of two round buttons which are mounted in a vertically-oriented, decorative cast brass panel. Raised brass text at the center of the panel reads "Signal For All Cars." A red button near the top of the panel corresponds with adjacent raised text that reads "Up." A black button near the bottom of the panel corresponds with adjacent raised text that reads "Down." The entire signal assembly is mounted on a rectangular walnut wood display board that has a decorative routered edge and is finished with a light coat of lacquer or varnish.
