1890s C.R. Wilson Co. Sleigh

Horse-drawn cutter sleigh. The sleigh was owned by Hazel Pingree, the daughter of former Michigan Governor and Detroit Mayor, Hazen Pingree. The cutter is made of wood and metal with a cloth-upholstered two-person seat. It was made by the C.R. Wilson Carriage Company of Detroit. The entirety of the sleigh is painted black and red.
