Souvenir
One souvenir plate from northern Michigan. The round plate is made of glazed white china. It has a flat, narrow, slightly-upturned rim that is stamped with a decorative, sepia-toned floral and leaf pattern. The center of the plate is printed with three sepia-toned drawings of popular tourist sights including Tahquamenon Falls, the Mackinac Bridge, and the ship locks at Sault Ste. Marie. Short captions are shown beneath each drawing. The plate underside is stamped with a crossed U.S./Canada flags logo and sepia text that reads "Northern Michigan Scenic Wonderland" and "Old English Staffordshire Ware." One small logo is also shown with additional text that reads "Jonron, England," as well as "Made in Staffordshire, England" and" Imported Exclusively for Bell Tourist Enterprises, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich."
