Souvenir

One souvenir "S.S. SEEANDBEE" doll from the passenger steamship, S.S. SEEANDBEE, of the Cleveland & Buffalo (C&B) Line. The doll has a molded plastic head, and a semi-rigid body with flexible joints at the shoulders and hips. The plastic head has a flesh-tone color and the eyes and lips are painted. The doll depicts an older boy or young man who is dressed in the uniform of a porter or steward. It has a removable tan fabric cap with a black label and text that reads "S.S. SEEANDBEE" across the front, and is wearing a triple-breasted yellow fabric jacket, faded blue fabric trousers, and black fabric shoes. Raised text on the back of the neck reads "Made in Japan." A small tag on the inside back hem of the jacket reads "Made in Japan." Also, black stamped text on the inside headband reads "Made in Japan."
