Speaker

One wall speaker from the Hudson's department store in downtown Detroit. The speaker consists of a rectangular wood box that has several cut-outs on the front surface with a white fabric covering on the inside. The exterior surface is painted a light tan color and the inside is unfinished. A circular-shaped speaker assembly is mounted inside the box behind the white fabric and includes wires for an electrical connection and a switch. A paper label on the back side of the speaker assembly reads "Utah Public Address" and "Huntington, Ind., Made in U.S.A."
