Spittoon
One spittoon from the Penobscot Building in Detroit. The spittoon is made of brass and has a wide, bowl-shaped bottom with a removable, friction-fit lid. The lid has a rolled outer edge and the top surface is sloped downward to a 3.25-inch diameter opening at the center. No manufacturer's marks are visible.
