Statue

One small reproduction of the Capitoline Wolf, the statue depicting Romulus, Remus and the she-wolf from the legend of the founding of Rome. The statue was presented by Italian Premiere Alcide De Gasperi during his visit to Detroit for its 250th anniversary. The statue consists of bronze figures on a marble base. A silver plate on the base is inscribed: "S. P. Q. R., Roma a Detroit, Nel CCL Della Fondazione."
