Stove
One miniature stove that was made by the Michigan Stove Company in Detroit. The coal-burning stove is made of nickel-plated cast iron. It has a 4-legged base, a decorative front with one large oven door and two smaller doors, and six burners on top, a spot for heating water at the far right, and warming shelves on the far left and above the main burners. The water heating spot is painted gold, black and red on the top surface and edges. Decorative text on the front reads "Michigan Stove Co." (two locations), "Garland Range," and "Detroit, Chicago & Buffalo." Raised text on the front oven door reads "Garland Stoves Ranges," and the letter, "G," is shown on the fronts of the adjacent smaller doors. The warming shelf on the far left has raised text on top that reads "Garland Range, Jr., 1893." Raised text on the right side panel shows the initials, "M.L.[J?]M." The stove parts are assembled with screws, nuts, and bolts.
