Tin

One tin of "Shinola" shoe polish. The circular tin is made of stamped steel. It has a removable lid that lifts when turning a small metal opener key on the side. The lid is painted red and black with white text that reads "Ox-Blood Shoe Polish," and "Shinola Wax." The bottom portion of the tin is gold-colored with black printed text that gives application directions, the product weight, "1 1/2 Oz.," and the manufacturer's name, "The Best Foods, Inc., New York, N.Y., U.S.A."
