Brass J.L. Hudson Company charge coin, numbered M24596, used to make purchases on credit at the downtown department store. The tag is elliptical in shape with a hole in one end, and is embossed with the customer's number on the recto over the stylized "JLH Co." logo. "Finder Please Return to The J.L. Hudson Co., Detroit" is embossed on the verso.
