1929 Covered Wagon Trailer Co. camper

Covered Wagon Trailer, manufactured by the Covered Wagon Trailer Co. in 1929, and designed by Arthur George Sherman, Sr. This trailer has a Masonite body over a wood frame. A section of floor at the rear of the trailer lifts out, allowing the trailer to stand upright. The interior features (from left to right of the door) a row of cabinets up to the ceiling, an elevated platform to put a mattress on, and a flat and long "trunk" on the floor.

This covered wagon trailer was one of the first production models and was used by the family of Mr. Arthur George Sherman, Sr. on vacation trips in the United States and Canada.
