Trophy

One monthly performance trophy from Hudson's. The trophy has a square base and column that are made of pressed wood that has been finished with glossy black paint. A silver-colored metal figure of a man holding a star in his upraised hands is attached to the top of the column. Large engraved metal plates on opposite sides of the base show "Hudson's Guest First (Customer First) Best Monthly Performance." Small engraved metal plates are attached to the front and back sides of the column and show a mall name/location, a three digit number with two decimal places, a month, and a year. The regional malls of Oakland, Eastland, Westland, Northland, and Novi are noted frequently on the small engraved plates. Dates range from June, 1995, to August, 1996. Presumably, the three digit number is some measurement of customer visits or sales per employee.
