Uniform, Occupational

One woman's hospital volunteer "Candy Striper" uniform dress. The dress is made of lightweight cotton fabric that has a vertical red/white stripe pattern on the bodice and skirt with horizontal striping for edging around the neckline, bodice sides, and waistband. The sleeveless bodice has open sides as well as a square neckline and was designed to fit over a blouse. It has two white button closures on the left shoulder and three white buttons at the left waist. The skirt is gathered at the waist, has two patch pockets on the front sides, and has a hemline ending just below the knee. A label on the inside back neckline reads "Angelica, Style 8209 SCC" and "Size 10, All Cotton, Preshrunk."
