Digital scan of a sepia-toned photo of the bracing and ramp around the eastern edge of the construction site for the Detroit terminal of the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel along Randolph Street, at its intersection with Franklin Street, as viewed from the northwest. A group of men are gathered on Randolph along a barricade at the top of the bracing. A truck is also at street level in the intersection. Signs for United Trucking Service, and H. and G. Cartage are painted on the side of the building at the northeast corner of Randolph and Franklin. "Detroit & Canada Tunnel - Section 5, Section 5C- Construction Ramp into Franklin Street.
