The image shows Governor George Romney (in white shirt) at the center foreground. He and two other men are walking across a street and reviewing the scene. A Detroit Fire Department truck, firemen, ruined buildings, and a Michigan State policeman can be seen in the background. The ruins of the Zerry Furniture store can be seen at the far right side of the photo.
