Negative and print of a color photo of the Lansdowne Restaurant docked at Hart Plaza. The LANSDOWNE was built in 1884 as a railroad car ferry. It was propelled by side paddlewheels and operated on the Detroit River. It was converted to a restaurant in the early 1980's. The Detroit River and Ambassador Bridge are visible in the left background. Portions of Cobo Arena, Cobo Hall, and the People Mover elevated track line are visible on the right side of the photo.
