Black and white negative of MISS U.S. 5 taken during the 1963 Gold Cup Race on the Detroit River. The Belle Isle shoreline can be seen in the background with the Belle Isle bathhouse at the far right. The boat, which failed to finish the race because of damage suffered in its first heat, was owned by George Simon and driven by Don Wilson.
