Black and white negative of TAHOE MISS, taken during the 1963 Gold Cup Race on the Detroit River. This view from the transom shows the boat just leaving the pits. The Belle Isle shoreline can be seen in the background with the Detroit Boat Club at the right. Another hydroplane can also be seen coming up the Belle Isle backstretch of the course. TAHOE MISS, driven by Chuck Thompson, finished third overall.
