Black and white negative of TAHOE MISS taken during the final heat of the 1965 Spirit of Detroit Race on the Detroit River on August 29th. The checkered flag can be seen in the foreground on the left waving to the boat, which won the race. She was driven by Chuck Thompson. The bow of MISS BARDAHL, which finished second, can be seen at the extreme left. The Detroit shoreline can be seen in the background at left with spectator boats anchored at the right.
