Black and white negative of two boats taken during the final heat of the Spirit of Detroit Trophy Race in 1965. The boat in the foreground, headed for the lower turn, is probably MISS U.S. 5, driven by Roy Duby, which finished fourth. The boat in the background, which appears to be MISS BARDAHL, driven by Ron Musson, coming out of the lower turn, finished second. The Detroit Boat Club can be seen in the background at left, and the MacArthur Bridge is at right.
