Black and white negative taken during the 1949 Silver Cup Race, which was held on the Detroit River on September 5th. The boat in the foreground is SUCH CRUST, which finished second overall. Another boat can be seen just ahead of her, and three more boats coming up the Belle Isle straightaway.
