Color negative containing two exposures of the mosaic above the altar of the crypt church within the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington D.C., made by Mary Chase Perry Stratton of Pewabic Pottery. The mosaic consists of a dove with halo, representing the Holy Spirit, within a sunburst shape, circumscribed within a blue circle. Eight figures are depicted on the arms of the sunburst. The central circle is surrounded by a square, with images of the Four Evangelists in the corners. One exposure is partially cut off.
