Black and white negative film taken at the 1959 Silver Cup Race on the Detroit River of MISS THRIFTWAY, driven by Bill Muncey, returning to the pits after suffering damage to her superstructure. As can be seen in the picture, the rear cowling and tail fin are missing from behind the driver's cockpit. The boat did not finish the race.
