Black and white negative film taken at the 1959 Silver Cup Race on the Detroit River of the pit area at the foot of Burns Avenue. The boats entered in the race can be seen on their trailers near the water's edge. The picture was probably taken from the top of the nearby Whittier Hotel. The last boat at the extreme right of the picture is MISS U.S. 1, and to her right is SUCH CRUST III.
