Black and white negative film taken during time trials on June 24th for the 1968 Gold Cup Race, to be held on June 30th on the Detroit River. In the picture MISS U.S. is sitting on her trailer in the pits. One of her Rolls Royce engines sits on a stand in the foreground. High winds forced postponement of the race until September 8th.
