Black and white negative film taken during time trials on June 24th for the 1968 Gold Cup Race, to be held on June 30th on the Detroit River. The picture shows the crew of PARCO'S O-RING MISS working on one of their engines, including driver Fred Alter, who is at right. Another Rolls Royce engine sits in the foreground. The boat can be seen at the right background. High winds forced postponement of the race until September 8th.
