Black and white negative film taken during time trials on June 24th for the 1968 Gold Cup Race, to be held on June 30th on the Detroit River. The picture shows the pit area before many of the boats had arrived. ATLAS VAN LINES can be seen at lower right, and the Roostertail restaurant can be seen in the background. High winds forced postponement of the race until September 8th.
