Black and white negative film taken during time trials on June 24th for the 1968 Gold Cup Race, to be held on June 30th on the Detroit River. Pictured are Fred Alter, (with his back to the camera), driver of PARCO'S O-RING MISS, on the deck of the boat with another crew member, looking at the boat's engine. High winds forced postponement of the race until September 8th.
