Black and white negative of MISS SMIRNOFF, taken during the 1966 Gold Cup Race on the Detroit River. The boat, driven by Chuck Thompson, was destroyed in a fatal accident in heat 3A. Two other boats, MISS BUDWEISER, (at left), and $ BILL, (at right), can be seen in the background entering the upper turn.
