Black and white negative of MISS LAPEER, driven by Warner Gardner, and SAVAIR'S MIST, driven by Walter Kade, behind her in the picture, at the 1966 Gold Cup Race on the Detroit River. The boats had both failed to qualify for the race, but ran instead in the Horace Dodge Memorial Race, in which MISS LAPEER finished first and SAVAIR'S MIST finished third.
