Black and white negative taken of the pits at the 1965 Spirit of Detroit Race on the Detroit River, which were then located at the foot of Burns Avenue near the Whittier Hotel. SUCH CRUST IV can be seen at the right, in the water with driver Bill Muncey standing on her deck, and MISS U.S. 5, behind her, driven by Roy Duby, just leaving the dock. On shore at the left of the picture is the tail section of SAVAIR'S PROBE with MARINER TOO behind her.
