Black and white negative taken during the 1965 Spirit of Detroit Race on the Detroit River of BLUE CHIP, which was driven by Fred Alter, coming down the front straightaway. The wash of another boat can be seen at the right of the picture, and the Detroit Yacht Club docks on Belle Isle in the background. The boat finished fifth overall in the race.
