The dilapidated series of buildings are surrounded by a chain link and barbwire fence; many structural components of the buildings are missing. Automobiles parked in the foreground include a Ford Taurus wagon, Chevrolet Cavalier wagon, and Pontiac 6000. In the background are the Greater Penobscot Building, Detroit Bank and Trust Tower, and First Federal Building.
