Negative. Black and white negative showing a view along the starboard side of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. The image was probably taken from the Dossin Museum on Belle Isle and it shows the vessel downbound on the Detroit River in fair weather. The Windsor shoreline can be seen in the distance. The number, "04-896," is handwritten in black ink in the left margin of the negative.
