Negative, glass-plate. Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the bow and port side of the L.C. Smith Transit Company freighter HARRY COULBY, under steam. Several crew members are on the flying bridge and near the stern. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background.
The non-archival envelope the plate was previously housed in included the handwritten note, "L.C. Smith, Blt 1906 renamed Finland 1927."
