Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the port side of the package freighter D. A. GORDON (captioned as the J. A. GORDON, possibly due to glare or damage to the name painted on the vessel in the photo), under steam. The freighter has two cargo masts with booms. A small boat is in the distance off the starboard bow. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background.
