Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the starboard side of the freighter WILLIAM A. HAZARD, under steam. Two figures lean out of the pilot house windows, and a group of several more are at the stern, were a line, possibly attached to a taffrail log, extends off the left edge of the frame. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background.
