Many figures are on deck, including several women in long dresses. A tree-lined shore in visible in the background. A man in a small boat is off the HEMLOCK's port side, and another carrying a man and woman is near its stern. "Lackawanna S.S.," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
