Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting bow and starboard side of the freighter HENDRICK S. HOLDEN, under steam. A figure sits on the main deck near the aft cabin. Buildings along a tree-lined shoreline are visible in the background. "High pilot house," "Loaded," and "3603," were printed on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
