Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the bow and starboard side of the Zenith Steamship Company freighter HOOVER AND MASON, under steam. Several figures are on the flying bridge, and two more are on the main deck, just past the pilot house. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. "886," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
