Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha taken of a photographic print of the port side of the Pittsburgh Steamship Company freighter DOUGLASS HOUGHTON, under steam. A group is gathered around the pilot house. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. "Light," and "Rebuilt Pilot House," are printed on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
