Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the port side of the Interlake Steamship Company freighter INDUS, under steam. A figure stands near the bow, and several others, including one peering through binoculars, are gathered near the aft cabin. Two people in a small sailboat are in the foreground. A buoy and a tree-lined shoreline are visible in the background. "P.C. 3195," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
