Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the starboard side of the Port Huron and Duluth Steamship Company steamer LAKEPORT, under steam along a frozen waterway. Figures are visible on board at the bow, outside the pilot house, and outside the aft cabin. Several buildings along a tree-lined shoreline are in the background. The image is captioned with the date, 1914. The non-archival envelope which previously housed the plate included the following hand-written details:
