Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the starboard side of the passenger steamer LAKESIDE, under steam with passengers crowding its decks. As a moonlight tower and several smoke stacks are visible on the shore in the background, the LAKESIDE is presumably on the Detroit River.
